As I was discussing in my last post, I geek about movement not just because of movement itself, but because of the opportunities for living that are inherent in moving well and moving more. Movement, both maintaining a certain level of fitness, as well as the small daily habits of movement to keep myself mobile, allow me to do things like get on a bike and ride for 7 days from Munich to Venice without aches and pains. (The bike tour was eleven days total, with some time to explore Munich and Venice as well as a rest day at a castle. It’s an awesome trip, and if you’re interested, I can get you in touch with the people to make that happen!)

There was one pass where we had to take the train due to poor riding trails- perfect opportunity to stretch. 😉
